Becky, Patron Saint of Laziness

I finally admitted to myself yesterday that I am a lazy person. I really don't want to be...I just think that if it's not important, then it's never going to get done. I've had this blog for over a year, and I've only posted two entries, which I then deleted after a six month hiatus. I guess this blog could be important, to family and friends, but I want it to be important to me too. I'll probably end up printing my entries and gluing them in a family scrapbook someday so I better start!

So, to get me to write on this thing I need it to be fun for me. And quick. I can't sit down every day for hours and type about my life. First, my life isn't that enthralling to write hours upon hours about. I'll just mention of a few of the highlights to keep friends and family updated. Steven's parents are on their church mission, and we miss talking to them daily. At least, they can read this blog to keep updated on us and their future grand kid.

Here I go to begin today's entry....drum roll..........

We went to church today. We attended the Spanish speaking Sunday school class and had a very enjoyable time. I know a pequeño amount of Spanish; I can read well but listening to a conversation I just get totally lost. I plan on improving my Spanish this year with personal study, and we plan on attending the class very often. As we left church, it snowed. It's not a blizzard, but I'm just ready for spring. And then summer. And then finally the baby will come!

The highlight of the evening was Masterpiece Theater!! I love the British! And I'm so happy for the BBC and PBS for putting together such well made movies. They really stick to the story but make it exciting with great acting and beautiful scores. I'm amazed I can get Steven to sit down and watch it with me. It surprises me how much he enjoys these movies. Tonight's classic was 39 Steps, a British story of a man who falls into be a spy right before World War I breaks out. I liked it for its handsome protagonist; Steven enjoyed it for the guns and explosions. I can't wait for next week.

Nothing else has happened today. Steven and I both have migraines--probably from the snow--so it's been a quiet evening. Being pregnant, I've had my horrible days to my good days. Today was a good day. I feel the little baby (13 weeks now) moving around in the evenings to let me know it's still there. Thank goodness for my sour lemonade that keeps the nausea away.

I finally admitted my laziness to myself a few months ago. It's amazing the things that have improved! I however haven't started blogging any better though...
